Dave and Carol rode their own ride so that left three of us after the split. We averaged 18. As we were getting close the wind pickup and was wild. Rick turned around and went home. The two remaining made it back just as the drops starting to fall.
Hal thought someone was off the back but I drove all the way back to Norwood and did not see any riders out so I hope everyone made it back okay. That mean old Hal decided to add covered bridge (only Carson wanted to do repeats with me) so all but 4 others split off to go the traditional way--have no idea what happened to them, but saw some of them back in the lot. On the way back at Possum started to get a little faster to beat the rain and I stayed back to pull-in the 2nd group (that was good exercise--Hal becoming a long puller?). The first group should have beaten the rain, since we got caught after the light on Raven Ridge on the final 1000 meters.
