Did anyone remember to count how many showed up at PUE this morning? All 3
groups met together in the parking lot (nice to be able to chat with
everyone), left PUE at the same time (on time ... thanks!) and quickly made
a split ... which was a good thing considering how large of a group we were
with the share the road/safety factor. How did it go for your group Hal?

Jim T. led for Leslie this morning (thanks Jim!) and our 2 groups stayed
together until their rest stop. 6 of us continued while the 5 stopped and
picked up ~ 2 from Hal's group (how cool is that!) to complete their 39
mile ride. Please let us know how the rest of your group ride went Jim.

It seems like every ride gets better for us as we rode as a group for the
full route. We felt so good at the Butner Rest Stop (we still had the cloud
cover) everyone agreed to take the Patterson Road route back to PUE adding 4
miles and taking away the New Light Road traffic. We did have a flat and a
couple of other mechanicals but Gary ([email protected]) always got us back
on the road quickly.

I wanted to mention after asking all of you about the ROAD ID, Jim T. went
ahead and did it. He bought the Neoprene Ankle in black and had it with him
this morning. It looked great. Jim let me try it on and it was easy to put
on/off with Velcro. The neoprene felt comfortable with a little stretchy
give to it ... and seemed like it would be easy to wash.

Century Date decided: 10/24. Raindate 10/25. The cue sheet will be next.

Thanks everyone!
Maria
