Wendy and I had a great ride today. When I read the posted message
about today's ride I missed one important part -- point of departure.
I drove to PUE. The PUE parking lot had a lot of serious faces. We did
not know how far we wanted to go but we did have a nice selection of Q
sheets to pick from. We chose a route of 60 miles as a starting point
and loaded with extra food , credit card and phone we departed. Since
we had rain coats/vests with us we knew it would not rain. While we
out in the wild back roads we ran across Ken and Neil going the
opposite direction. As they paseed Ken asked if we where lost. Up to
that point we had been able to follow the sheet without any misses. I
did make a wrong turn later but on a beautiful day like today extra
miles is a good thing. By the time we got back to the van Wendy had 75
mile registered on her computer. Love this North Carolina weather.
