Guys, Ride is still on @ 5:45pm leaving from Shady Grove Church. Since light is hard to come by these days, we'll be shortening the route and do something that will get us off any high traffic areas as darkness approaches. Therefore, we'll go down Baptist Road to the Marina, come back and take Kemp all the way back to Carpenter Pond with a finish on Covered Bridge.
Mileage will be around 22-25 miles but we still may get caught in some darkness so if you have a light, please use it especially if you have a taillight. Some sort of headlight would also help if you have one. We are going to try to continue these rides even in darkness so, if you don't have lights please try to invest in some. Night riding is a different and fun experience and we will do this on very low traffic roads. Btw, these rides will slow down quite a bit too obviously for safety reasons. As an example, in years past we could get in 25-28 miles at 17-18mph average. Better than sitting on the trainer.
