For those of you with high-school age children, I found out that this is a
way to accumulate community service hours towards the amount needed for
graduation. So instead of the teens watching TV, have them help out and
help themselves by taking a nice relaxing walk along New Light in a
fashionable orange vest!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be good for our
up-coming cleanup.
Does anyone have any orange safety cones that we could borrow?
This would be a good time to pull your teens away from the computer
and get them out helping..:)

Here are two dates for February so if you can't make one you have a
second option.
Saturday, February 20th at 2:00 and Saturday, February 27th at 2:00
We will be meeting up at the fire station just off of New Light at
Purnell Road
If you have children this is the perfect event to bring them to.
Again, please personally RSVP to me and let me know which date you can
make.
I'll be posting more on this thread once the event gets a little
closer.
Thanks friends.
