Hi Gyro Family
Yet ANOTHER friendly reminder of the Wine Tasting that Taylor's Wine
Shop is generously hosting for Hospice of Wake County. This is a cause
very near and dear to my heart. The monies raised will go towards an
Indigent Patient Fund providing in-home or in-patient care as people
are faced with the final days of their lives. I have talked to many of
you and appreciate all the support and know I will see many of the
Gryro family that night. I also know that many of your lives has been
touched by hospice care for a loved one.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served as well as some yummy wines.
'Silent Auctions' include themed baskets so bring extra $$$
A big thank you to Larry's Beans who has donated a bunch o' beans.
Tim Brown of PerformancePixel.com offered to be the official
photographer for the evening.

This is one of several fundraisers I have planned for the year. The
year will conclude with my particpation in the Beach2Battleship Iron
Man Triathlon in Wilmington in November along with other members of
Tri4Kathy: Run, Bike, Swim for Hospice of Wake County. It is also on
the eve of my 50th birthday so the big tri is being dubbed "$50 for my
50th"

Thursday, March 25th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
$10 donation at the door

Taylor's is located at 10005 Six Forks Road, Raleigh (you know..where
they sell gas, live bait and wine??) Located 300 yards north of the
540 interchange on Six Forks Rd. (Exit 11)

And most importantly, these events are all inspired by the life of my
'sister'-in-law, Kathy Rose Short, July 21, 1955 - July 7, 2009, who
fought a 4-year battle with cancer with grace, courage and dignity.
Kathy and my brother Brian lived in Chapel Hill for 5 years while my
brother was in grad school at UNC. Kathy loved North Carolina and she
is a big reason I choose this place as home.
