If this is the white house on the right after the golf course, I recall talking to the owners or at least the people that lived there a year ago, maybe more. There was a chow wandering the street and would come by and bother their pit bull that was chained up in their backyard. That particular day the chow was wandering down Baptist road but wasn't interested in me. At that time the house had no fence in front. Perhaps the house has changed hands since then.
I fortunately have had no bad crashes dealing with dogs. My approach has been, if it looks like I cannot get past them, drive straight at them and scream bloody murder. Most of the time the damn dog looks so confused it cannot remember what it was originally doing. I am not saying this is a tried and true method, just one that I have used in the past. I am sure mace would be more effective, but with my luck I would crash trying to drag it out of my jersey pocket. Of course, there is the option of bunny hopping the dog, which I managed to do only once and wound up in the ditch unharmed. The dog wandered back to its house with its tail between its legs wondering what the heck just happened. That made 2 of us.
