You clearly DO get it -- it's all about ratings.
There's a movie from maybe 20 years ago called "Network" that
satirized this phenomenon.
Businesses exist for one reason, generally, and that is to make money.
There are exceptions, but they are few and far between.

The public apology these days does not hold water. I really wish
