G-Nation,

With an almost unbelievable 550 forum members, including many newcomers, I
thought that I would send out a friendly reminder on the etiquette of using
this google group when posting a message.

PLEASE try to refrain from posting messages that say things like, "Nice job",
or "Have a great ride" or "See you on the road", etc, etc. etc. There are just
too many to list but I think you all know what I mean.

These kinds of posts do nothing more than clutter everyones mailbox.

If you want to post a message, such as the ones above, please do it to the OP,
NOT to the whole group.

In saying this, the following examples are acceptable but not all inclusive:
1. Post anything that concerns a ride
2. Just released important cycling news that everyone should read about
3. Whether or not you are showing up for a ride so your ride leader & others
know
4. Open discussions concerning rides, conditions of roads, dogs, weather,
selling bikes & equipment, etc.
5. Ride reports (Rick - Keep your reports coming. They are just too good!)

All I am asking everyone to do is to please think about what you are sending to
the whole club before you hit that "send" button. Be considerate of your
fellow Gyro forumites.

Thank you,
Tony
