All, In light of Hal's incident yesterday I started thinking. None of us had any kind of first aid supplies with us. I would like to suggest that we put together first aid kits to be carried on each group ride. The kits could consist of instant ice pack, gauze bandages, ace bandage, antiseptic etc. I would be willing to pitch in $5 - $10 to purchase the necessary supplies, and others in the group could do the same. Each ride leader would be responsible for ensuring the kit is at the ride, but the riders could take turns caring it on their bike.
I'll be more than happy to help put this together if everybody agrees. Let this be a reminder to always carry emergency contact information.
