G's,

With all the talk about a B ride and with the amount of response from everyone
showing an interest in a B ride, I have decided to lead a ride on Thursday
nights. I am not trying to steal any thunder from Joel and Shane. It appears
that they may be doing their ride on Tuesday's since Joel has scheduled their
1st ride for June 22nd. So, I'd like to throw in another option for those who
maybe can't make it on Tuesday's OR would like to do both a Tuesday and a
Thursday night ride. But before I get into this too deeply, I should first
mention that I can not commit to to leading every Thursday AND I am not looking
for someone to take my place when I am absent. Right now, I'd like to do 2
Thursday's a month - maybe 3. We'll see how it goes.

The plan is to leave from my side of town, which may be more convenient for
some people. That means we will leave from Shady Grove Church which is on the
corner of Carpenter Pond and Shady Grove Roads.

Here is a map:

What I like about this starting location is that it keeps us away from busy
traffic and it allows us to get out to Baptist or Patterson Roads quickly.

Start time will be 6pm.

Mileage will be about 25 miles.

Route to be determined.

Pace will be about 16mph. This is a NO DROP ride. We'll focus on the finer
points of pacelining and riding in groups and we'll have lots of fun in the
process.

Since I'd like this to be an easy fun ride, I am going to label it Tony's "Easy
Rider" ride.

I will be posting all the details again in my "weekly ride schedule" tomorrow.

If, for whatever reason, I can not lead this ride on a particular Thursday I
will post such in the ride schedule that this ride will not be taking place.

I plan on starting next Thursday, June 24th, and I'll be riding regardless if
anyone shows up but I hope that there will be a great turnout.

You are more than welcome to let me know if you are interested though so I can
plan accordingly.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thanks,
Tony
