Everyone,
First and foremost, Sandy and his family thank you for all the
thoughts and prayers.
His status:
He is doing well considering what he has been through. He had a
stroke that affected the right back portion of his brain. This portion
of the brain handle vision and memory. He has lost (hopefully
temporarily) peripheral vision on one side. He has long term memory,
but some of the short term memory is a bit shaky.
He needs to rest for now. Having said that, he does like seeing his
friends. If you go visit with him tomorrow, try to keep it short and
not too many people at once. Keep in mind Sandy, his wife, is also
tired.
He is at Rex in room 3022. Please do not call tonight or stop by
tonight.
