Hey y'all,

I'm really disappointed to have opened this email with the Tour de France results posted having thought I was looking at the Subject: "Doping. "

If you're going to post the Tour results, how about getting the Subject line right: (Tour de France Results) so those of us who tape it (TIVO) to watch later don't see the results before watching?

He also claimed that he rode the 2006 Tour clean and was being unfairly
prosecuted by "several cycling entities". He completely fooled Loren Mooney,
who interviewed him for the book that she wrote "Positively False", that
defended Landis. But, as she states in Bicycling magazine, it should be in
the fiction section now.

It was based on Landis' pathological lies. He was so good at it that he
convinced an experienced reporter. A defense fund was set up for Landis, and
many, many people who believed in him contributed money. Including me. He
sat back and accepted all of this even though he knew that he was guilty. We
were all fooled. All along he accepted these funds knowing that he was
guilty.

And, now you can't shut him up. And, it is out the other side of his mouth.
Now, everyone was doping. I guess he is like the captain of a vessel who
knows that he must go down with the ship, but, insists on taking everyone
with him.

What bothers me most is that this is the time for him to get back in the
news with all of the attention being focused on the Tour. The US media will
jump on anything about cycling that is negative, and, accusations against
Lance would take top priority. I am sure that they have been holding back
"evidence" against Lance until the focus is on the Tour.

And, it just might cast a dark shadow on what should be the most compelling
tour in decades. Well, I have just come in from my ride and am settling in
to watch the Prologue.

For me, it is Lance all the way. If he stays out of trouble he will outsmart
the stubborn Contador.
