Thanks for the update. 

Although having a hole in your heart might not be the most desireable thing, at 
least they have found it and can take the proper measures to take care of it. 
And, it sounds as though he did not suffer the type of permanent damage that 
effects your lifestyle.

As far as him not recalling certain things, I have that same problem all of the 
time. And, yes, he is very fit and a tough SOB. That goes a long way.

It is hard to believe that he was dealing with this with the way that he 
cycles. His body really compensated well because he was always at his best when 
the riding was the toughest. Can you imagine how he would have been riding 
without this condition? 

Please keep us informed. How long is his hospital stay?

PS. "Non-invasive surgery" sounds so oxymoronic! But, I know that this refers 
to surgery that they do without incisions or cutting tissue, like using lasers. 
It is time to hit Google to learn more!!
