It was fun to see a few Gyros out for this annual event; we noted that
the group seemed smaller this year but still 900 riders ain't bad!
Fortunately there were no big colliisions at the start although a
rider did go down on train tracks just before our first rest stop at
mile ten. I was riding with Gary Rolfke and Paddy and looked down at
my speedometer and for an average of 20 mph. I was happy to see the
Cheetah Girls as I didn't and couldn't keep this pace up. There were 6
of us adorned in our leopard print jersey finishing the ride at about
18 mph. Jackie and Sam Q. were also spotted at one of the rest stops.
Overall, a really fun day.
