There are thunderstorms in the forecast, so I will attempt to make this easy
for everyone. Since rain policies are always nebulous, and, my attempts at
policy have only served to provide even more haze, here it is:

If it is raining, or, if it was raining and the roads are wet and the skies are
still threatening the ride will be canceled. Make other plans; take a spin
class, or, get on that trainer.

If it has stopped raining, the skies are clearing, and the roads are drying
than the ride will be on. (Basically, if you feel like riding show up. What's
the worst that can happen?)

Now, it is quite possible that where you work or live it is not raining, but,
where someone else works or lives it is raining (I am in Zebulon, and the
weather patterns are different than Raleigh), so good luck applying the rules.

I will be in Brier Creek mid-afternoon and should have a good sense of what is
what. If there is doubt I will post a weather update at 5pm.

I bet that this cleared everything up. The rain rules are now sans ambiguity.
