  Paddy,

We will hold the flowers but would you like some nuts?

Kevins salary will need to increase.

  Get will soon.
  We can heal together.

Sorry Paddy. I hope you are back soon. I was two bikes behind you but in the
other pace line & your description of the events matches up with what I saw.
As we all discussed later it seemed to happen in slow motion.
Thanks again to Kevin for riding with the Gyros.

  Guys,

First of all I hope I did not cause too much consternation and delay on the
ride. I believe it was Kyle who went over the top of me and I sincerely
hope you are OK and anyone else involved.? Please let me know.

No one else was involved somehow I lost it on a straight bit of road, just
cruising along – pretty dumb. I was riding right hand only as I was putting
some paper wrapper into my back pocket and the next thing my steering
snapped left I snapped it back right and the rest is history !

Well all I can say is : Don’t fall off your bike because it hurts. !! I
hit so hard on my left shoulder I managed a lateral break of the clavicle,
it overlaps by about 1 “ , I will see a specialist on Wed morning to
discuss it further. The Physician’s assistant told me that surgery would be
the way to go for a much speedier recovery but maybe not essential. The
problem is that it may not heal properly and after many weeks surgery would
be necessary anyway. It may also cause a large bump to develop boney type
growth and that would not be good for my perfect physique !! right girls ?

I am home and doing very well, in high spirits, just somewhat
uncomfortable. It could be 6 weeks or more before I get back on the bike
which completely sucks Therefore , for speed I am leaning towards surgery
  at this stage.

There is no need for flowers or fruit at this stage, let’s leave that until
  later !!

I was really enjoying my ride and looking forward to an Irish attack on the
group, oh well another time. Will keep you updated and thanks for all the
support from all of you on and off the bike Lots of thanks to as always,
The “ Doc” also Andy who rode back with me and Ken who collected me from
  the store.

Take care on the roads The Paddy.
