(Ok, Tony, I know that this is not cycling related, but, I love Brett Favre, and, it is not a stretch to say that he would be a great cyclist if he chose to be...)
There is very little left for me as far as sports heros. Larry Bird is long gone; and the great Michael Johnson has not laced up his golden spikes in many years, and, then Lance's peformance in the Tour made it all too clear that he is done. Now, it is Brett. I am damn sad right now. Who cares about the NFL now. Is there anyone out there who played the game the way Brett did? Now we got T.O., Ocho-a-hole, Haynesworth the Useless, Vick the serial dog killer, guys only interested in the cash...more felony charges than charitable actions...it goes on and on. Brett was old school. I will be in mourning for a few weeks. Please provide some of you own Brett stories, and, any negative comments on Brett will be deleted and not responded to. I am going for more Kleenix. -- You received this message because you subscribed to the Gyro email group.
