(Ok, Tony, I know that this is not cycling related, but, I love Brett Favre, 
and, it is not a stretch to say that he would be a great cyclist if he chose to 
be...)

There is very little left for me as far as sports heros. Larry Bird is long 
gone; and the great Michael Johnson has not laced up his golden spikes in many 
years, and, then Lance's peformance in the Tour made it all too clear that he 
is done. 

Now, it is Brett. I am damn sad right now. Who cares about the NFL now. Is 
there anyone out there who played the game the way Brett did? Now we got T.O., 
Ocho-a-hole, Haynesworth the Useless, Vick the serial dog killer, guys only 
interested in the cash...more felony charges than charitable actions...it goes 
on and on.

Brett was old school. 

I will be in mourning for a few weeks. Please provide some of you own Brett 
stories, and, any negative comments on Brett will be deleted and not responded 
to. 

I am going for more Kleenix.
