I love bananas, but they are not my friend on the bike or the run course.
The last 1/2 banana I ate during a race was at the last aid station on the
IMFL course.  It stayed down until we were back at the hotel, along with the
flat coke.  Never again  semi solid nutrition or gel on the bike only for
me.  Bananas stay with my every day fruits :) but they are definitely good
for you
