I want to thank the 11 riders @ tonight's ride for taking a big chance on the weather given the fact that the skies were so ominous looking. Since we only did 12 miles, due to the storms, we thought we'd break in a few Gyros and do Covered Bridge. Everyone did a fantastic job. I know it was intimidating at first but everyone did it. I am impressed by everyone.
Funny, I am sitting here listening to a torrential downpour. Perfect timing getting back to the parking lot and home without a drop of rain. On another note, in my weekly ride post yesterday, I said that there would be no Thursday night ride next week. What I should have said was that I will not be leading the ride. The ride can still take place and thanks to Bert it will. Grey has also said that if neither of us can lead he too can take over. Since this ride seems to be a popular one, it helps to have multiple ride leaders who can step up and keep the ride going. Thank you leaders and thanks again to all who showed up tonight.
