Actually I have several NON-hidden full-zippered jerseys that work quite
well with one hand. The hidden zipper seams to be more troublesome in that
regard - it's all in the design/quality of the apparel.

I trust to have their hands off the handle bars. (There probably are 1 or

but that doesn't solve the safety issue.

Subject: [Gyros: 16202] EMERGENCY SITUATION REGARDING JERSEY'S
G's,
We have an emergency which I am going to have to make a decision on
quickly
as Monday is the deadline in placing our jersey order.
I just found out from LG that our "full zipper" is NOT invisible. This
creates a very huge problem. It is my fault for just assuming that the
full
length zipper would be "hidden/invisible". Everything we have done to date
has been invisible. I thought I would confirm that when I saw that the
samples were visible. Being samples, I just didn't think about it. I mean,
we were trying on sleeveless jersey's in a different fabric because they
didn't have samples in the fabric we wanted.
So, I asked them today. Their reply was "no invisible" zipper on this
jersey. To go invisible we would need to go to an ELITE jersey. One major
problem though. The Elite jersey only comes in the "Euro" fit. We have a
Pro-cut fit. So, unless you are built like Logan Schleck, it just ain't
gonna work for most of us.
I have attached the most current layout showing what a black full zipper
will look like. As you can see, it really does not help the design at all.
(Do not focus on sponsor logos, etc. as there are changes still being
made)
I asked about a gray zipper. Can't get one. All they stock is black and
white. So, I took my older white jersey and put white paper on it to
simulate a white zipper and that dosen't work either.
We are only left with one alternative and that is to go back to the 15"
invisible zipper that we have now.
(Btw, THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE SLEEVELESS JERSEY'S. They already have the
15" invisible zipper).
If I HAD to have the full zipper, I would have to go with the black and
only
because there are black accents throughout the jersey.
We are ordering about 42 of these and I want to make sure that everyone
knows what we are up against. If I decide to go to the invisible zipper, I
hope that that does not matter to anyone. (I know Bert won't like it.
Right Bert!)
I am very sorry for this as I am sure most of you were anticipating a full
length zipper. Well, at least we will have the lighter fabric.
Thanks,
Tony
