Dear Gyro Family, In 3 months I'll be particpating in .....enduring..and surviving...the Wilmington Beach2Battleship full distance IM triathlon. I've shared with many of you the significant loss of my 'sister'-in-law a year ago and deciding to do this race in her memory.
I am also using this event as a vehicle to raise funds for Hospice of Wake County and a special indigent patient fund for those unable to afford care at this crucial juncture in their lives and the lives of their family members. I know many of us have been touched by hospice care so you can understand why I would want to raise funds for such a worthy cause. So far TRI4KATHY: Swim, Bike, Run for HOWC has raised $2,632.
