Hey Guys, Thanks for the encouragement. I did the 4/5 category. It was a pretty tough race with some wind and a lot of hills. 33 miles on an 8.?? mile loop. Neutral start to the loop down one road and then the finish was back up the same road. There was really only one flat section on the backside of the loop. I was in the middle of the pack when things really splintered and it was tough to move up. The roads werent closed so we were all stuck in one lane but the police marshalled it really well so no cars bothered us. Also there were no crashes which is really nice. We ended up with around 23.7-24 average. During the last couple miles the guys up front would slow it down and then attack and then repeat. It hurt. The road was opened for the last 200 meters and I went from near the back as soon as it opened so I wouldnt get blocked. I managed to get 7th out of 80. Im pretty pleased.
