As one of the 2 riders who got bit by the "Misunderstanding". I was very disappointed to learn about the switch in routes when I arrived at Blue Jay Point. I am not a regular rider with the Gyro's and was welcomed by the group when I came to my first ride several weeks ago. I was looking forward to the group ride and checked the route Friday morning and made a copy to follow if needed only to find out it was changed around 1 pm on Friday. From following the site for sometime I believe the ride leaders do a wonderful job of taking thier time and effort to decide on the routes and post them. I just think that if a ride is posted then the group should follow that plan. If you do not like the route you always have the option of not doing the ride that week. The group needs to collectivly decide if the leaders post a ride if they are not going to be there or if they just post they will not be there and wait for someone else to step up.
