Logan, I am not sure what the point of the whole post is. If it is to solicit contributions from the Gryos members via the Gyro site when we have a Gyro team and I am/was the captain I don’t see why I should not state that maybe he should consider going the Gyros team – he is welcome to join us – and then use our forum to collect funds (although everyone here knows about the event). If he wants to join another team he can do that too –and did – no issues here and I am glad he is raising money for the cause but then go raise funds from family, coworkers and friends not here. It just touched a nerve.
If the post had another point that I missed at engadget’s home page - well please fill me in cause I am not getting it.
