I wanted to apologize to the A group today for the annoying "squeaking" emanating from my crankset on today's ride. I did attempt to find out where it was coming from after hearing it on Thursday, but, to no avail.
I have picked up a nickname from the guys, something like "Squeaky", or the like, but, I will be getting back my Roubaix from the Trek store on Tuesday so this nickname shouldn't stick. What was funny about this squeak is that Marc thought that it was coming from his bike in a sort of ventriloquistic play on the ears. (In an attempt at deflection I blamed the squeak on Carlos on Tony's Thursday ride, so I thought that it would not be a good idea to repeat this especially when you consider Marc thought the squeak might be a result of work that he just had done on his bike.)
