I was out riding this morning and turned left onto Kemp Road from Coley and was stopped by a road closed sign. I rolled up to one of the engineer's and asked what was going on and he told me that they are going to repave the road. Not only repave but totally tear it up, widen the road, lay down a new concrete base and then lay a new surface over the concrete. He said that will take about two weeks and after today they will open the road back up and work on one side at a time. So for ride this week and next we might want to plan route around Kemp Road.
