My good friend Guido Sarducci from Italy will be in Southern Pines next week (working with some Pro and Cat 1 riders) and may be available to give you (and other Gyros) a "professional" bike fit.
Guido has coached numerous time trial and road race champions and has a proven method of finding the optimum position for a rider on the correctly sized bike. The process takes 4-5 hours. Most bike fitters do all their work in a static environment but Guido also does a ride with you to observe and correct your bio-mechanical interaction in a live setting. He also uses a power meter/heart rate monitor device throughout the fitting to determine energy efficiency. Although his appointment book is almost full for next week, he could fit you in if you are serious. (Although you would have to meet him in Southern Pines) His fee is normally $500 US (cash only) but could give you or any other Gyro a special deal! Going fast(er) is never easy, but once you get the correctly sized bike and an optimized position, then the only other reason you have for being dropped is that you just plain suck. -- You received this message because you subscribed to the Gyro email group.
