I'd also like to add to Bert's ride post for Saturday. You'll notice that
the pace is 18-19mph. We are gearing down for awhile now that the warm
weather cycling season is coming to an end. You will also note that "we do
not wait for dropped riders". Well, that is only partially true. If you
can't hold the 18mph minimum pace over this distance, then you need to find
another ride. Also, if you haven't ridden with Bert and myself and you
don't grasp the concept of "working and riding together", then you will also
need to find another ride. We will enforce this! That being said, there
are sections of this route that you can certainly open it up and stretch the
legs. We'll regroup at the top.
This is not meant to be an A/A- ride so if you want to gear down, enjoy the
scenic country roads and enjoy good company, come on out and join us.
