Gyros, I was out today on a short ride and went down Bold Run from Purnell, they are in the process of Paving Bold Run and it is rideable but take it easy on the downhill bit which can be very fast as there are lots of ridges etc where old paving meets new etc, along with some very rough Popcorn type surface. So please beware on any overtaking impulses !! The Paddy.

Keep in mind this very important note - We will WORK AND RIDE TOGETHER as a group. We'll throw in some adventure on the climbs but if you like riding off the front and ruining the group dynamics, please find another ride. One option I would like to offer is to have our Race Team members join us for this ride. The racers and any other A riders that would like to join them and feel that they can keep a faster pace (approx. 20mph average) head out a few minutes ahead of the rest of the group. That will also all any riders that fall off the pace a group to fall back to. For the racers this route has a number of county line sprints (CLS) to practice sprinting, plenty of hills and good sections to practice pace line riding. Here are the details: . MEETING PLACE: Pleasant Union Elementary School (PUE) ROUTE: New Bold Run/Cheek Rd. Loop (see attached cue sheet) TIME: Saturday 11/ 20 @ 9:00am DISTANCE: 55 miles PACE: 18-19mph - NO drop but you MUST be able to maintain the minimum pace. See you all then.
