Thanks everyone for your concern. I am fine with a nice road rash scrape on my cheek and a right black eye (hey I won't have to be in the annual Christmas picture this year!!)
And to answer Rick's question- the idiot tried to pass us with 2 oncoming cars close to us. He had just enough time and thankfully enough horsepower to make it around us but he cut right in front of Bob who was pulling. Bob slowed down and swerved and me being second in line bumped his wheel. Down I went and started the chain reaction. This all happened so quickly that all I remember is Tom yelling Car passing, realizing I was bumping Bob's wheel and then I am on the ground with everyone else. So sorry Kim to hear that not one but four of your ribs are broken!!! You are quite a trooper. Can't believe your pain tolerance level! Best wishes for a speedy recovery! He has 4 broken ribs- #'s 3,4,5,6 in the back; plus a fist sized shin contusion. They gave him IV pain and anti-inflammatory medication. Now he will try to get some rest- hope that Kathy and Grey are doing okay. Thanks to whoever brought the car and bike back!
