Hey G-Nation, This is one of those solicitations for information, so feel free to respond directly by e-mail. This is Donnie McDaniel, the big guy who wears the Rock Racing kits, and I am about to purchase some wheels. I weigh 230lbs and I am blowing spokes on every ride, especially if I get aggressive on a hill, and I am tired of it. The boys at the Trek store are going to help me get a warranty wheel (kudos to them), but that will not solve the problem. What I want to know from you guys is what do you think of the American Classic Hurricane wheels? They are 22mm wide 32 spoke count wheels that only weigh 1680 grams, but are made for the robust figure that I possess. Thanks for any info you can give me.
