Really should increase it to 25 cents but nobody has an extra quarter to
spare.

if your daughter has a 'classic' female body AND depending on how many miles
she intends to ride, then i would be cautious about her riding a mens frame
with a shorter stem. at the least she may experience neck and back pain. not
an enjoyable ride - not OK.

my 2 cents worth nothing in this economy.

Women built like Jeff's wife; long torso, generally fit better on men's
frames. Classically proportioned women, short torso, long legs, need a
women's frame. Kevin: try to assess your daughter's body proportions & go
accordingly. Men's frames, with a shorter stem, can work OK for the classic
female body.
