I am planning on riding tomorrow afternoon at 3pm -- probably a variation of
this route (shall we call it "and back" given we will be in church clothes -
with cycling shoes of course), shortening in by ~ 6 miles by turning R. on
Horshoe (instead of L) and skipping Woodleif by going straight on Purnell.
Option of shaving of another 3.5 mi by cutting out the Bold Run / Magum
Dairy loop. A - pace (18-19 mph)
 
btw, does anyone recall if there is a gas station / shop at Long Mill and 96
and if it is still open ?

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that the ride is
canceled today.

 

So we'll doing this ride tomorrow which, so far, looks to be a perfect
"Billy Goat" kind of a day.

 

SUNDAY RIDES (8/28)

MEETING PLACE:   Pleasant Union Elementary School (PUE)  (Directions:

TIME:  Sunday 8/28 @ 8am 

RIDE DISTANCE:  64 miles (RS in Wilton @ 25 miles)

PACE:  A @ 20+mph,  A- @ 19+mph

NOTES:  There will be hills where the climbers will be allowed to stretch
their legs.

OTHER NOTES:  This one is important - WE RIDE AND WORK TOGETHER AS A GROUP.


We encourage county line sprints.

figure out where you are.  

We DO stop for mechanicals.

 

If you don't want to do this ride, you still have Kim's Recovery Ride as
your other option.
