Greetings, A friend and I did a set of 1590s spanish court clothing for the King and Queen of the Midrealm a year or so and we went through easily 100 yards of trim. You could conservatively estimate 50 yards of trim for this dress and still not put as much trim on as you could. I have portraits of Spanish royalty on my website to give you some comparison to the portrait you referenced.
