Hmm, I haven't actually tried to find such a thing online, although I am
sure it exists, most major cities have a neighborhood where the local Indian
population tends to conregate and set up businesses to cater to the locals.
When I lived in Western Canada, there were a few stores in Calgary and
Edmonton that I frequented, now I'm close to Toronto and have a guide who
shops with me in 'Little India' whenever I can afford the trip.  I have
found narrow silk chiffon/gauze for as cheap as 2.00 a yard! Ebay sometimes
has dupatta fabric that they claim is silk, but usually it's synthetic,
heavily patterned, and not sheer enough.

Now I'm curious, I'll snoop around the 'net and pass on anything I find.
