I wouldn't badmouth the entire JoAnn's chain, because people's comments on this list suggest that individual JoAnn's stores vary greatly in the size and variety of their fabric selection and the intelligence and usefulness of their employees. The JoAnn's nearest to me is fairly lame in both categories, but it's clear that other people have had different experiences.
