Chanceau, Izambard. Propietaire d'un atelier de modes feminines actif a
la fin du XIXe-debut du XXe siecle qui executait egalement des traines
pour les robes de cour.  Marque imprimee en lettres d'or sur un ruban de
soie blanche ; au centre Izambard Chanceau St-Petersbourg, a droite et a
gauche des ecussons les initiales M (then a Russian letter).

In the book there is illustrated a court dress of deep red velvet with
lots of gold embroiders and a cream underdress also with gold embroidery
"seconde moitie du XIXe siecle"
