The pictures are wonderful. I would love to go to an event like that where everyone is properly dressed and the same period. SCA is fun, but there is everything from Romans to Elizabethan and all in between. And the garb is less than authentic in most cases.
I am so sorry about your wrist. Keep dreaming up wonderful costume and embroidery and the month will pass. Just don't try to rush the healing and start using it before you are healed. It will be tempting after a couple of weeks, but don't do it - you will be sorry for the rest of your life if you do. And that comes from one who broke an ankle and fudged a bit. That was twenty years ago and it still hurts sometimes. We will all be thinking about you so hang in there.
