This is a different creature from a carpet sweeper. I have the hoover version - works OK as a wet floor cleaner (goes through a lot of solution on the dirty bits) but blows as a vac. Literally. I find myself chasing wads of dog-fluff around the kitchen instead of vacuuming them up.
