Does this mean I should not send a box? I can't imagine they would charge
customs on things like fabric samples, little gadgets or papers/magazines,
etc. I certainly plan to make every effort to be there in April but it is
too soon to tell. The only thing I am sure of is getting to Switzerland.
Since my husband does not yet know how long he can leave his business I
can't plan much yet. I want to visit both you in London and some old family
friends in France. Of course, I will still plan to bring "stuff" (any
requests?) with me but I would like to be able to send the odd package
anyway. Should I tell you what I will send before sending it? I hate to do
that because I like to send little surprises at Christmas time. Just let me
know what you think.

On the home front I am now working full time (40 hours per week). I work
10AM to 2PM and 6PM to 10PM. I HAVE NO LIFE!!! Fortunately this will only
last about 12-15 weeks and the job is very interesting. Besides, I enjoy
being temporary management. The only problem is lack of time.

Medically I have very painful arthritis in my right knee and bursitis in my
left hip. I went to the doctor today and got cortisone shots in both places
(he called me his little pin cushion <grin>) I told him he stick pins in me
all day if the pain stopped. I do feel much better several hours later but
I am still getting a handicapped hanger for my car so I can park closer to
the door at work. With all the extra people hired for the busy season, I
have to park waaaay out there and the walk is brutal on bad days. Tomorrow
I go to the hand doctor for my worsening carpal tunnel. I am just going to
pieces. Can't walk, dance, sew or lift. And using a computer with an old
type mouse (which is what I have at work) is painful. I might see if I can
get permission to get a track ball mouse. I have one at home and I have a
computer connection at home so I don't mind buying my own. All I can say is
"Golden Years my arse". Sorry for the long gripe session. Being in constant
pain for over 3 weeks has made me a bit frustrated. How is your health
doing? Still having dizzy spells? I hope not.

Well, I am off to bed. Can't stay up quite as late these days. Take care.
Hope to have time to call soon. I will let you know.
Love, Anne
