Looks 1740s


I made my pirate coat more like 1700-17-teens and used Norah Waugh. There's a 
justicorps where the side back comes out at about a 90 degree angle from the 
CB piece. No actual pleating required, it just falls into folds. Very easy to 
make but not a full as the pattern you posted....but still looks great. 
There's plenty of fabric.

The cuff on the sleeves is real too...not added. The long bell shaped sleeve 
actually folds back and buttons to the upper part. The pocket flaps [and 
pockets] are low down on the coat.

Very easy to make
