Hi,
It was oval seaqins i was after, doesnt seem to be in fashion these days.
I looked at your link and found this:
German Silver Sheet Metal - 28 Gauge, 6"x12"
Wich is thin silver plate wich you could cut out yourself.
Perhaps that would be a solution. This was very much in use in 18th century
to cut out special shapes and add to your embroidery.

Hi,
After you sended the link to chenilles et pappilons, i have wondered. Does
anybody know where i could get such oval silver spangels, as one of the
mens
jackets, are embroidered with?
Such ones i have ben looking for for ages, and i cant think of what things
i
mis because my french is so lousy. There must be loads of such things for
sale in paris, when i think about all that haute couture made there with
Lesage embroideries and the like. Any of you ever ben to paris and found
such places?
Small tiny oval glassbeads would be a treassure two!

These are circular and not oval. I can't seem to find the papillon site
back
to see if you were really meaning circular or not.
Crazy Crow Trading is a good company to deal with. If you have the time
you
may browse their site for other goodies.:)
Their sequins/spangles come in two sizes, 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch (roughly 1
1/2 cm ?). Brass and silver.
