I strongly recommend bringing your machine to a Singer
or multiple brands repair shop that isn't in a fabric
store.

My 1951 Singer cast-iron monstrosity got a new bobbin
case that fit only after I tried several; all the
bobbin cases were class 15, as is my machine, but the
cases are machined to very close tolerances, which
don't match every machine.
The store isn't a store-front any more, or I would
recommend them highly.
