I also welcome you here. I'm not so much into renaissance, but 18th.
century, but recently i got an old book from 1919, german called
"Costumkunde fur Sammler"
It has a photo of a roman renaissance doublet, with a mixture of the italian
and spanish style. Its got a lot of slashing in the sleaves, and a lot of
puffed layers two. Very elegant, but this is only a photo of the jacket, no
pattern, but perhaps it could be an inspiration for you.
If you would like, i would not mind scanning it and send it for you!
