Dear Kimiko and Suzi,

Ohhhhhhh.... *that* knot. Okay. I knew that is how it
would be worn. It was more a matter of what decorated
the terminal end of the garter. Y'know, all that repro
information jazz. :-)

I have heard back from the House Manager at Anglesey
House. He is going to send me a copy of the photo from
the Museum of London Gothic art book (gods only know
it's a popular book title, but for the life of me I
can't remember it's name!) and since it's going out on
loan very soon, said he would take a picture of it's
baskside for me. I hope that he puts some kind of
dimensional reference in there for me.

I also have a metalsmith interested in reproducing the
buckle and roses for me in brass. If we can pull up
enough dimensional detail for it so that the repro is
faithful to the original, he may just put it into
production in his collection. That would be cool. :-)

ItÂ’s never too late to be who you might have been.

For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there is
an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there is a heart somewhere to
receive it.
