Now we are talking about fur. Yesterday they had a bargain in my Mall. I
could get a silverfox with head, legs and tails, you know how these looks
like, for a bargain. Very fine quality.
Could i use such a fox and sew on my 18th century cloak?
I would consider it a shame to remove the head, legs and tail, but would
this be period?
My cloak has a wide falling collar made of faux fur!

B, You'd probably have to make a new outfit to match, in a different time
period---or at least a different economic strata, but it would certainly be
stunning!
Did you ever get a Real answer to your question? I don't know about period
use of the head, legs, etc, but I think real fur would be wonderfully
luxurious detail to your costume.
I also think you should enter that Eterna Silk contest---it would blow the
doors off the current and past entries!
