That is difficult, because altering the chest usually also means altering
the armholes, and that is really difficult. You could, though, not only take
in the sideseams, but also put front and back darts to help with the waist
problem. {We used to have the opposite problem, "tapered" shirts, which had
those darts, didn't fit the untapered menfolk in my family, so we had to steer
clear of them.) I wonder if this oversized cut is part of the whole baggy
clothes trend. Where did you buy the shirt? Maybe a more conservative
menswear
store might be a better choice?
