Good question. I know they make sergers, but evidently they make other
sewing machines as well as other industrial equipment.

I THINK they may have gotten into the domestic machine market after
their beginnings in industrial machines.

Anybody know?

I have a non-industrial serger by Juki (bought last year). I assume this means
they are in the domestic machine market as well :-)

I adore my Juki non-industrial serger. I've had it for...let's see...14 years and have never had a problem. I've bought them for both academic costume shops I've worked in as well, and they've been great. They're more expensive than other brands, but they also work MUCH better.
