If it was released only a couple of years ago, you probably mean "Le Pacte
des Loups", released in the US as "Brotherhood of the Wolf". You're right
about the blood and the fighting; it is, more or less, an 18th c martial
arts movie. (But I like those...) And it did have some nice eye candy...
